1. Change-of-Mind Returns
​
Window: 30 days from the date you receive your order.
Condition: Unworn, unwashed, swing tags and hygiene stickers (if applicable) intact, packed in the original protective garment bag.
Exclusions: Final-sale items, gift cards, customised or monogrammed pieces, hosiery and earrings (for hygiene).
How to Lodge a Return
Email returns@lovelornjuly.com with your order number, item(s) and reason.
Australian customers receive a prepaid Australia Post label; international customers post at their own cost (keep proof of postage).
Pack and send—reuse the compostable mailer or garment bag when possible.
Once inspected, we refund the purchase price (excluding original shipping) to the original payment method within five business days.
2. Free Size & Style Exchanges
​
First exchange is free within Australia. Tell us the new size or colour and we’ll reserve it for seven days.
If the requested item is unavailable, choose an alternative style or a 12-month store credit.
International customers follow the returns steps above; the replacement ships at our subsidised flat rate.
3. Faulty or Incorrect Items
​
Email photos and a brief description within 14 days of delivery.
We cover all return shipping.
For major faults you may choose repair, replacement or refund, as protected under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

4. Sustainability Swap-Back
​
Return any Lovelorn July garment (in wearable condition) at any time.
Receive a 20% discount code to use on your next purchase at Lovelorn July.
We up-cycle, donate or recycle returned items to keep textiles out of landfill.

5. Important Notes
​
Processing time: Returns are assessed within three business days of arrival.
Combine parcels: Send multiple items together to cut carbon emissions.
Gift returns: Provide the original order number or gifter’s email to receive a store credit.
Refund delays: If your refund hasn’t appeared after seven business days, check with your bank first, then contact us.
